Quake Champions is a 2022 first-person shooter game developed by id Software and Saber Interactive and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main entry in the Quake series, following 2005's Quake 4. The game was first released in early access on August 22, 2017; on August 10, 2018, the game was made free-to-play. The game's full version was released on August 18, 2022. The game ceased to receive content updates on September 23, 2026, and became a paid title with all content unlocked by default.
