Terms of use and cookies

Last updated:

By using the site or the API you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

We run a database of games, movies, TV series and books where registered users score each work in six categories from 0 to 100. Community scores are averages of user ratings and are shown only after an item has at least 5 ratings.

Item metadata comes from open sources: Wikidata (CC0), Open Library and Wikipedia. Synopses from Wikipedia are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0 and are shown with their license and a link to the original article. Links to external scores (such as IMDb or Metacritic) are provided for reference; those scores and all trademarks belong to their owners.

2. Your account

Provide accurate information, keep one account per person and keep your credentials secret. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication. Nicknames must not impersonate others or be offensive.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, manipulate scores or abuse the service.

3. Ratings

You can rate each work once and edit your rating at any time. Ratings must reflect your honest opinion: using multiple accounts, bots or paid ratings to manipulate scores is forbidden.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free and perpetual license to store your ratings and use them to compute and publish aggregated scores, including after your account is deleted, in anonymized form.

4. Acceptable use

Do not scrape the website — use the public API instead. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, bot protection or access controls, interfere with the service, or use it for anything illegal.

5. Public API

API keys are personal and secret; you are responsible for requests made with your keys. Each plan has a quota and a rate limit; the free plan includes 100 requests per account in total and requires a verified email.

The API returns only our own data (scores and community statistics), open metadata and external identifiers. You must not use it to redistribute third-party data that we only link to. We may change or retire API versions with reasonable notice.

6. Payments, renewal and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, by card through Stripe or by PIX through AbacatePay. Prices and taxes are shown before you pay. Card subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; PIX payments cover the period purchased and do not renew automatically.

You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Extra credits do not expire. Where the law grants you a right of withdrawal (for example, 7 days under art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Code), you can exercise it through the contact form and receive a refund as the law provides.

7. Affiliate links

Some book and game pages include links to Amazon and Mercado Livre. These are affiliate links: we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are labeled and never influence scores.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies (session, security and preferences) and load video embeds only with your consent. Details are in the Privacy policy.

9. Account deletion

You can delete your account in your profile. Deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period during which you can log in and cancel it. Your ratings remain in the community scores anonymously.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service and the API are provided "as is". We work to keep data accurate and the service available, but we do not guarantee that information is complete or error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law does not allow to be limited.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in advance and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form.
